These terms apply to all bookings made with JP04 Jeep (jpjeep.co.uk), operated by Jason Drury ("JP04 Jeep", "we", "us"). By paying a deposit or booking fee you ("the Client") accept these terms.
1.1 JP04 Jeep provides a chauffeur driven vehicle hire service using a 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ presented as a Jurassic Park replica. The vehicle is driven by us at all times. Self drive hire is not offered under these terms.
1.2 The vehicle carries a maximum of 3 passengers plus the driver. We reserve the right to refuse carriage where more than 3 passengers attempt to travel. All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times.
1.3 A step is carried to assist with getting in and out of the vehicle.
1.4 Passengers must be able to travel using the standard seatbelts fitted to the vehicle. Child seats cannot be accommodated.
2.1 A booking is confirmed only when we have received a deposit of 20% of the agreed hire price and confirmed the date in writing (email, WhatsApp, or text is sufficient).
2.2 The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date. For bookings made within 14 days of the event, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
2.3 Prices are as quoted at the time of booking. JP04 Jeep is not VAT registered and no VAT is charged.
2.4 The quoted price covers the agreed route, timings, and hire duration. Additional stops, mileage, or time beyond the agreed booking may incur an extra charge, which will be agreed with you before it is added.
3.1 The deposit is not refundable if you cancel, as it secures your date and means we turn away other enquiries. If we cancel, section 4 applies and the deposit is refunded.
3.2 If you cancel more than 14 days before the event, no further payment is due beyond the deposit.
3.3 If you cancel within 14 days of the event, the full hire price remains payable.
3.4 Date changes will be accommodated where we can. If the new date is available, your deposit transfers to it. If it is not available, the cancellation terms above apply.
4.1 The vehicle is a classic car over 30 years old. It is professionally maintained, but mechanical failure is an inherent risk with a vehicle of this age.
4.2 If we cannot provide the service due to breakdown, accident, illness, or any other cause, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible and refund all sums you have paid in full, including the deposit.
4.3 A full refund under clause 4.2 is the limit of our liability for a cancelled or failed booking. We are not liable for any other costs, losses, or expenses arising from the cancellation, including alternative transport.
4.4 If a breakdown occurs during the hire, we will make reasonable efforts to complete the journey or arrange assistance, and will refund a fair proportion of the hire price reflecting any part of the service not delivered.
5.1 Timings and routes are agreed in advance. We will always aim to run to the agreed schedule.
5.2 We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather, or other events outside our control. For time critical events such as wedding ceremonies, we build in a sensible margin and recommend the Client does the same.
6.1 Roof up or roof off can be requested at the time of booking. The final decision on the day rests with the driver based on weather and safety.
6.2 The vehicle is a 1993 open top design. With the roof off, passengers travel at their own risk regarding weather, and we recommend suitable clothing.
7.1 No smoking or vaping in the vehicle.
7.2 Food and drink may only be consumed in the vehicle with our prior agreement.
7.3 We may refuse carriage, or end the hire without refund, if any passenger is abusive, heavily intoxicated, or behaves in a way that risks the safety of the driver, passengers, or vehicle.
7.4 The Client is responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to the vehicle, and cleaning beyond normal use, caused by the Client or their party. This will be charged at cost with receipts provided.
8.1 Ribbons, decorations, or props may only be fitted to the vehicle with our prior agreement, and will be fitted by us to avoid damage to the paintwork or trim.
9.1 We may take photographs or video during the hire and use them on our website and social media. If you would prefer we did not, tell us before the event and we will not.
9.2 You are welcome to share your own photos and tag us at instagram.com/jp04jeep.
10.1 Where a booking of any kind is arranged through Star Car Hire, another agent, or a production company, that booking is subject to the terms of the agreement with that party, which take precedence over these terms where they differ.
11.1 Where the vehicle is booked for static display at a show, fair, or other event, the booking, deposit, and cancellation terms in sections 2 and 3 apply in the same way as a hire.
11.2 The vehicle remains under our control at all times. We will position it as agreed with the event organiser, and may reposition, cover, or withdraw it where necessary for safety, security, or to protect it from weather.
11.3 During static display the vehicle is for viewing and photography only. Members of the public may not sit in, climb on, or touch the vehicle.
11.4 The event organiser is responsible for providing a suitable and safe display pitch, access for the vehicle to arrive and leave at the agreed times, and a route out that is not blocked during the event unless agreed in advance.
11.5 Display timings, including arrival and departure, are agreed in advance. Time on site beyond the agreed booking may incur an extra charge as set out in clause 2.4.
11.6 Photography of the vehicle by attendees is welcome. Commercial use of images of the vehicle requires our prior agreement.
12.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12.2 Subject to clause 12.1, our total liability arising from any booking is limited to the total amount you have paid to us for that booking.
12.3 We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
13.1 These terms and any booking are governed by the law of England and Wales.
13.2 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
13.3 These terms were last updated in August 2026 and may be revised. The version in force at the time of your booking applies.
